An exploration of how Jesus Christ meets us as people within a culture, how he affirms culture, challenges culture and transforms culture. A discovery of the true nature of Christian identity and Christian community, and how Christ brings diverse people (different ethnicities, socio-economics, languages) into one body.A journey of crossing culture in mission: engaging with secular culture in a meaningful way, being sent like Jesus into the world with the transforming Gospel.An adventure in knowing God, who through Christ is reconciling all things to himself.

Introducing Dr. Z Mlisana...

Dr Zolile Mlisana currently

serves as the Chair of the

Board of Heartlines.

He is the Founding and

Senior Minister of Emfuleni

Missions Church, planted in

1998 in Durban, KZN - now

congregating in Manor Gardens.

Now married for 25 years to Dr Koleka Mlisana, a medical microbiologist and HIV researcher at the University of KZN, they have 3 children.

Zolile stepped out into leading the church, after practicing Medicine for 20 years - the last ten as a private paediatrician. He served as the founding and first chairman of the SA Medical Association, who’s Constitution and Transformation committee he now chairs.

He states his personal vision as “to develop people for social significance in God’s will, and making a contribution to social intervention strategies in the nation.

Zolile has been involved with ministry to students and young people at national level since his school days. He was involved with SCM as a student and also serves as the President of the SCO Council.
